Hotel "Valentina"

The hotel, though occupying a 9-stage building, is not very big. Accordingly to our impressions, it is clean, bright, still, with not very long ago renovated interior. Internet access is available in a "business-centre" room, however, link is rather slow. Restaurant prices for a dinner are within 50-75 UAH (6.5-9.7 USD). The assembly hall is not very comfortable, in particular for making notes. The rooms are good in a whole, each having a balcony, phone, TV, fridge, but remarkably small.

Prices per night (breakfast included) from the hotel site are presented below. We do not pay the reservation fee, so please do not undertake any reserving without letting us to know about. The intended way is that you only inform us on the preferred type of room, and we do actual reservation.

The hotel services should be paid for in UAH. Also VISA, Master Card are accepted.

An "improved lux" appartment has two rooms with an air conditioner, one double bed, an improved interior, and a bath. 545 UAH (70.8 USD) for one person, 600 UAH (78 USD) for two.

A "lux" appartment has two rooms with an air conditioner, one double bed, and a bath. 435 UAH (56.5 USD) for one person, 490 UAH (63.6 USD) for two.

A "semi-lux" room has air conditioning only when at the hottest, south, hotel side, one bed, and a shower. 365 UAH (47.4 USD) for one person, 420 UAH (54.5 USD) for two.

A "simple" room for two persons has no air conditioning, a shower, and one or two beds. 290 UAH (37.7 USD) for one person, 350 UAH (45.5 USD) for two.

Hotel "Yunost"

Hotel "Yunost" (three-star) is placed at a busy enough street within a kilometer from the main Symposium place. Their rooms seems larger and more comfortable. Internet access is available in a "business-centre" room, and as free Wi-Fi in the hall of the hotel. In the price list, we have to select the third column for a "high season". Note that the cheapest appartment with air conditioning (semi-suite double, 2 rooms) costs 580 UAH (75.3 USD). A place in a "Twin economy" room for 140 UAH (18.2 USD) per night compares well with the same in the student dormitory (student sanitary complex "Ekolog" , see below).

Hotel "Olimp"

Hotel "Olimp" (four-star) is placed just next to the hotel "Yunost" and within a kilometer from the main Symposium place. We will remark a Wi-Fi Internet connection in the rooms. The cheapest single room costs 600 UAH (77.9 UAH). The staff said reserving a room before a month would be possible.

Hotel "Victoriya"

Hotel "Victoriya" (three-star) is placed close to the "Valentina" on a more busy street (see bottom left corner of the city plan fragment). The price list is not informative. A single room with air conditioning costs 430 UAH (56 USD) for one person. Luxury suites contain two rooms and one double bed; the cheapest one costs 610 UAH (79 USD) for one person, 680 UAH (88 USD) for two. A single room for two persons (two beds, without air conditioning) is available for 400 UAH (52 USD). Breakfast included, in the form of a smorgasbord; other meals are available with the prices nearly equal to ones for "Valentina". A Wi-Fi Internet connection in the hall of the hotel is available.

A "cheap" dormitory

The student sanitary complex "Ekolog" (Lvovskaya str. 15) is proposed as a cheap dormitory. Residence in a room for 2, 3, 4 persons costs per night 130 UAH (17 USD) for an undergraduate student and 150 UAH (19.5 USD) for any other. Locals say this is a resonable price for a holiday season. For an additional payment it will be possible to order meals here. The only problem is that it will take at least half an hour to get to the hotel "Valentina" by foot. Bus/taxi bus stops, however, are near the dormitory.
